Jobletic is a dedicated platform established in 2020 that empowers young people in Bangladesh by providing a link between job seekers and employers, offering key skill training, and facilitating career rooming. Jobletic works closely with private sectors, educational institutions, non-government organizations (NGOs), and government organizations to support young people and help them reach their potential.
Jobletic successfully kicks off “Career Pathways for Youth”, a series of online career counseling sessions to empower young individuals.
Jobletic has recently launched an initiative to support and guide the youth in their career paths. The “Career Pathways for Youth” series of online career counseling sessions aim to provide valuable insights and practical tips to help participants make informed decisions regarding their career choices. The first episode of the series titled “Demystifying Career Confusions” was conducted on 16th April 2023, and it received an overwhelming response from all the campus ambassadors who participated. The session was hosted by Md. Hasibur Rahman and featured Aparna Barma, Talent Acquisition Specialist at HR and Head of HR at Ukraine Response Hub, Plan International, as the discussant. The event was jointly presented by Creative Pathways Bangladesh and Radio Dhrubo 247.
The session was an excellent platform for students and fresh graduates to gain valuable insights into the advantages and disadvantages of private and government sectors, the various government job opportunities available for students with an arts background, and how university students can fit into the job market. It also covered topics such as fresh graduates’ opportunities of internships, and volunteerism, how to secure jobs in development sectors and the HR department, and the importance of professional networking. The session provided practical tips and strategies to help participants make informed decisions and pursue their chosen career paths.
The counseling session concluded with an emphasis on developing the right mindset for a long-term career, including perseverance and adaptability. The session proved to be a valuable resource for young individuals seeking guidance on their career choices, and equipped them with essential skills to pursue their chosen careers.
